Prime Minister Albin Kurti, together with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, and the Deputy Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Jeton Raka, visited today the family of Kosovo Police Sergeant, Muhamed Lika, who tragically lost his life on April 1.

During the visit, the Prime Minister was received with respect and thanks by the family for the institutional support. He highly appreciated the figure of the deceased and emphasized his contribution as a member of the Kosovo Police and as a fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army. “Sergeant Muhamed Lika has contributed greatly to maintaining law and order, as well as to the security of our citizens and state. He also made his contribution as a KLA fighter for the freedom of our people and country. His murder will be investigated and the perpetrators will be tried and punished. His name will be remembered and will not be forgotten,” Kurti wrote in the book of condolences.

The shocking event has caused concern among public opinion, while security institutions have begun investigations to fully clarify the case and identify the perpetrators.

The Prime Minister and government officials expressed full support and solidarity with the family, committing to justice and continued support.
