Lily Allen responds to criticism of her "West End Girl" tour

Lily Allen has reacted strongly to her "West End Girl" tour, following criticism from some fans who felt dissatisfied with the concert experience.
A disgruntled fan wrote on X that the concert at The O2 had no opening act, the singer took the stage at around 9:10 PM and everything ended around 10:00 PM, also adding that there was no interaction with the audience and that the ticket price was high.
In response, Lily Allen clarified that there was an opening act and that the show was conceived exactly as advertised.
She said that the concert is based on her album “West End Girl” and is performed in its entirety, in the original order of the songs, which is why the duration is about an hour. According to her, the lack of communication with the audience is an artistic choice, as it aims to preserve the narrative of the show and the dramatic effect.
Allen added that she doesn't want anyone to feel cheated and that she and her team are working hard to deliver the highest quality performance, which she is very proud of.
The fan then responded by explaining that, despite the complaint, the performance had been excellent, but according to him, the price for a short performance was high.
The "West End Girl" tour, which is based on her fifth album, is being promoted as a show where the artist performs the entire album in its original order. The album itself also deals with her breakup with actor David Harbour.
