Massacre at Seattle food festival, 3 killed and several injured, including a 2-year-old

Three people have been killed and several others injured, including a 2-year-old child, after a shooting at the popular Bite of Seattle food festival near the iconic Space Needle in Seattle, USA.
The incident occurred on Sunday evening, around 6:00 p.m., when, according to police, two people allegedly started shooting at each other in the crowd of visitors, causing panic. Hundreds of people ran from the scene, while footage posted on social media showed people pulling down fences to escape the gunfire.
Two victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while four people, including a 2-year-old boy, were transported to the hospital. Another victim later showed up at a different hospital with gunshot wounds. One of the injured did not survive his injuries, bringing the death toll to three.
Police have arrested a suspect, described only as a "young man," while continuing the search for a second person suspected of being involved in the shooting.
Authorities said two firearms were seized at the scene and that there is no longer a threat to the community. The motive for the collision remains unclear, and the investigation is ongoing.

The operation involved Seattle police officers, firefighters, emergency crews, as well as agents from the FBI and other federal agencies.
Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson called the incident "a horrific act of violence," adding that the community is struggling to understand how an event organized for culture and entertainment ended in a shooting tragedy.
The Bite of Seattle festival is one of the city's largest summer events, attracting around 350,000 visitors over its three-day run.
