"Dinosaurs have dominated politics" - Nesturi: The US, through justice, seeks the overthrow of this system in Albania

Analyst Plator Nesturi, invited to the "Off the Record" studio by Andrea Danglli, on A2CNN, stated that the United States of America is trying through justice to end "the long 35-year transition" in Albania.

"In addition to the aspect of supporting the Justice Reform and the new justice bodies that are doing their duty in terms of tackling issues of corruption and abuse of power and to complete this long 35-year transition, where they have really been dominated by dinosaurs, not giving the opportunity to say new contributions and new careers.

This is an indication on the other hand that internationals are still attentive to supporting people with integrity, young people to give their contribution to the future, Albanian politics and why not even more broadly. So, they have done this before, they have done it with different figures, but it must be said that they have always created support, they have had figures who have held on, they have not always reached the top. This is another issue.

"They have definitely had the support of the international factor. I think that even in the expected developments that we may have, this could be an added element for parliamentary life and for political contributions to reform the parties within them because they are still in the freezer," said Nesturi.

"I think that the parameters that apply to these contributions in new conditions have been seen. I have heard various commentators say that the US has left the Balkans or Albania, and this is an indicator that it is completely the opposite and that the support of the international community and the United States in particular is not only for the issue of Justice Reform, but they are attentive to all political developments that are taking place and that are underway in Albania and that in a way stimulate precisely the new ideas, new contributions and new commitments of precisely those politicians, whether they are young or with contributions no matter how much they have, who are closer to reality and closer to the citizens," Nesturi added.
