The leader of the DP, Sali Berisha, during the press conference said that the DP list in the Elbasan Region , where 6 municipalities of the region were left without representation in the safe seats, was dictated by circumstances and the coalition agreement.
The former Prime Minister said that the DP candidates in Elbasan are excellent figures, while comparing the list to a diverse representational ensemble.
Sali Berisha: These elections were conceived as a battle. The restrictive circumstances, the coalition, etc., have dictated these positions. We had working meetings with those excellent candidates. I saw an ensemble there, I don't remember ever having had such an ensemble in front of the citizens of that region, from natural forces in campaigns to one of the most virtuoso voices and singers in Albania, such as Mr. Kllogjeri, etc. Honorable ladies ready to sacrifice for the position they have been appointed to. I left Elbasan with special pleasure from the meetings I had on the street with noble men and women, but also their representatives who will be in the Albanian Parliament.

I absolutely say this with the deepest conviction, no one has been and cannot be removed that Sali Berisha could not tolerate that from his thoughts different from mine. It does not happen.
