Can you still use TikTok in Albania? Here's why the platform is still open

The social platform "TikTok" has not yet been completely shut down in Albania, and the March 13 deadline, set by the National Cyber Security Authority for the final blocking of access, will be extended.
Currently, TikTok users in Albania are experiencing difficulties in use and are seeing signs of a blocking process. The Cybersecurity Authority has initiated the first phase of the procedures and the entire process may take up to 10 days to complete, due to the necessary actions that need to be taken with internet companies to completely block the platform.
Following a tragic incident in which 14-year-old Martin Cani lost his life after a fight that started on social media, Prime Minister Edi Rama proposed shutting down TikTok as a measure to increase child safety. After consulting with parents and teachers, the government decided to shut down the platform to protect young people from harmful content.
If the platform is to reopen, TikTok must provide filters that will protect new users from aggressive and inappropriate videos.
