GJKKO appeal leaves Veliaj in prison, Artan Hoxha: The security level in the cell of the Mayor of Tirana has been increased

Analyst Artan Hoxha spoke today on the "Log" show on News 24 with moderator Endri Xhafon regarding the GJKKO Appeal decision for the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.
We recall that a few days ago, the GJKKO Appeal dismissed Veliaj's request, leaving him in prison.
Hoxha described the GJKKO Appeals decision as an exemplary decision, while saying that in a normal situation, Veliaj could have been investigated under house arrest.
Hoxha said that according to his sources, he has learned that the security level in the cell where Veliaj is held has been increased, limiting his communication with his family.
Artan Hoxha: Veliaj's case is the most important case that SPAK has had in its hands, because he is the first official of that level to be arrested on duty. The appeal decision is an exemplary decision, I don't remember the security measure going for 72 hours, it's simple, it's a procedure. In a normal situation, the mayor could be investigated even at home, house arrest and prison are equivalent. But the new evidence made the prosecutors insist that he be kept in prison... Appealing and giving him house arrest is the same thing. They have also strengthened the level of security, of the communications he has with people outside the prison. SPAK thinks that Veliaj is able to poison the evidence even in prison.
