Vlora/The 34-year-old man was driving drunk, crashed into several vehicles and attempted to escape from the police, was caught and arrested after a pursuit.
Today, at around 19:50, at the Çole roundabout, in the "1 Maji" neighborhood, citizen K. Ll., 34 years old, resident of Vlora, driving a "Benz" type vehicle while intoxicated, initially crashed into three vehicles and, while moving to leave the scene, hit another vehicle driven by citizen AK, around 50 years old, who is in hospital, out of danger to her life.
Immediately after receiving this information, the Police services were put in pursuit to stop and capture him. After locating the 34-year-old, the latter attempted to escape from the Police services by maneuvering at speed and hitting two Police vehicles, putting the lives of the officers at risk.
After continuous pursuit by the Police, in an area outside of residential centers, to avoid danger to other drivers or passersby, it was possible to stop the driver of the vehicle, citizen K. Ll., who was immediately escorted to the police station for further action.
The investigation team continues to work to fully clarify the circumstances and complete legal documentation of this event.
