"I don't want to be on the open list"/ Damian Gjiknuri, a strong clash with Edi Rama?

Journalist Erla Mëhilli, this evening during her show on Euronews Albania, stated that according to her information, yesterday there was a strong clash between Damian Gjiknuri and Edi Rama.
According to her, Damian Gjiknuri has informed Edi Rama that he does not want to run on the open list, but has asked him to include him on the closed list. This request was not accepted by Edi Rama.
The latter declared today that all MPs with more than one mandate will be on the open list, as according to him, only women and political leaders of the Regions will be on the closed list.
Unlike previous elections, for those of May 11, Edi Rama did not assign any region to Gjiknuri as political leader, as the latter had previously been in Vlora and Elbasan.
Given this situation, Damian Gjiknuri, according to the rule set by Rama, must run on an open list, but in the meantime, it still remains a mystery as to where the district will run.
Yesterday, after Rama's meetings with political leaders concluded, a list of possible SP candidates for the May 11 elections was distributed to the media. What was noticed was that Damian Gjiknuri's name did not appear in any district as a candidate for MP, thus adding to the rumors of a clash between him and Rama.
Also, the name of Nasip Naço, who is also rumored to no longer be running for MP, was missing from the preliminary list.
We recall that today Edi Rama asked the MPs that each of them, who does not agree to compete on the open list, notify the political leaders and have their name removed from the list, as according to him, they cannot withdraw when they see their name on the open list of candidates.
