Wiretapping/ Here's how Veliaj destroyed evidence or changed witness testimonies from Durres prison

The wiretaps of Erion Veliaj in Durrës prison have revealed a lot of important information, not only the fact that he ordered the media, those that he paid with his brother or that have other benefits of power because of him. Most importantly, there are several criminal offenses committed.
First, the reason why Erion Veliaj is in prison, which has to do with taking evidence, destroying it, etc.
According to the wiretaps, it is enough to look at page 73, where on February 26th Erion Veliaj talks to Ajola about witness Greta.
Erioni asks Ajola to connect with Greta, encourage her, and then talks about the speech the prime minister gave at the SP parliamentary group meeting, where, according to Veliaj, he defended Klotilda and called on her to speak to herself.
Erion Veliaj also talks about the positions that two other people will hold, such as Erald Simixhiu and Ajola's mother, Valbona. This interception is dated February 18, 2025, at 20:51. Ajola talks to Erion, tells him about the concern that her mother and uncle Erald Simixhiu must appear at the prosecutor's office.
Veliaj tells him that if they ask him two or three questions, they should say "I'll ask the lawyer and tell him", "I only came to answer the call, but I won't testify against the girl, I have no legal obligation, that's all" and go there and say no, I won't testify against my daughter, nor tell her I stand by her statements, I have nothing to stand by, nor does she speak at all, I don't want to testify, I don't want to testify, you're destroying entire families, I don't want to testify. Events that all happened later. So there are at least three cases, Greta Domi, uncle Erald Simixhiu and Valbona Xoxa, according to court records and documents, the second on page 69, which show that Erion Veliaj from the cells of Durrës prison influenced witnesses to change their statements before prosecutors.
This is one of the additional strong reasons that the prosecutors had before the court, after the evidence obtained that the chairwoman of the Laws Commission, Klotilda Bushka, was engaged together with Ajola Xoxa in the destruction of evidence. The flagrant case was caught by SPAK prosecutors, that of Klotilda Bushka's contact on at least two occasions, the first in the Ombudsman's office and the second in another environment when one of the witnesses had her phone taken away, was asked to change her statement, and so on.
So there are four cases in total, in which one developed abroad and three during the time Erion Veliaj is in prison, that the mayor of Tirana and the people around him have attempted and to some extent have achieved their goal, to have witnesses change their statements before prosecutors and to make obtaining evidence no easier for investigators, who are conducting intensive investigations into the mayor of Tirana, against whom the Appeals Court of Appeals has already issued an indefinite detention order./ Taken from CNA.al
