Analyst Namir Lapardhaja showed the differences, similarities and strategies between the two largest political forces in the country, regarding the method of selecting candidates for the May 11 elections.
In a Skype connection on the 7:00 PM central news edition on Vizion Plus, moderated by Aleksandër Furxhi, Lapardhaja stated that both the SP and the SP publish candidate lists at the last minute.
According to the analyst, this happens because despite some criteria and results of the primaries, in the end Berisha will choose the people who have remained most loyal to him.
Namir Lapardhaja underlined that Prime Minister Rama will have to create a list of anonymous people, new people, as some of the old ones are involved in the world of crime.
Where do the two major political forces resemble and where do they differ in the way they have constructed their candidate lists?
Lapardhaja : The major political forces have shown that they leave the lists of deputies for the last minute. Because, regardless of what they publicly declare, at the end of the day it will be Berisha and Rama who choose the candidates based on several criteria in quotation marks. The only criterion is loyalty to the political leader. Rama, starting in 2009, has drawn up a list, some of whom have had major problems with the criminal world. Now Rama will have to create a completely new list, while Berisha is clearer, as he wants a small loyal group.
Berisha has said that the results of the primaries will be corrected somewhat. How this registration will be done is not yet clear. What do you think about this line that Berisha has chosen?
Lapardhaja : The correction is that those lists will include his loyal people and those who have helped him, who have remained loyal to him. There are no people in the DP today who think that on May 11, Berisha's party will be the winning alternative. Their battle is a battle for oppositionism.
It is expected that Rama will include more young people in the safe lists, and the old ones will have to "sweat" to get the consent of the citizens. What do you think?
Lapardhaja : The recent SPAK wiretaps and the "Çyrbja" case show that they are affecting Rama and the Socialist Party. Rama, with this almost destroyed image, needs to create a list of anonymous people, young people.
