Prime Minister Edi Rama says that the shutdown of TikTok has begun and within 15 days it will be completely 'blacked out'.
From Lushnja, in a meeting with teachers, Rama said that 95 percent of teachers and parents, with whom they were consulted, agreed to close this social network.
" We decided to close it after consulting with 95 percent. It was a decision-making process where no socialist or democrat asked because they had their children in mind and 95 percent of parents and teachers said it should be closed. Of course, we made the decision to close it and in parallel we opened a dialogue with the company, we said that we will not allow Tiktok to continue to function and enter our families' homes like a scut with all those products that are unfiltered. We have nothing to do with you, in the sense, not anything ideological with you, but we want guarantees. For example, we have released a series of things, we have made them available to the company.
For the sake of truth, they have had a reaction that I did not expect. They have been cooperative and have promised us that they will come up with a plan to set up a series of shields.
