Another party that 'breaks away' from the opposition coalition "For a Greater Albania".
The National Albanian Alliance has notified the Central Election Commission (CEC) of its withdrawal, arguing that "relations with this coalition have not worked."
But not only that! This party has withdrawn from any electoral activity for the parliamentary elections of May 11. "We make this request-declaration to be freed from any obligation arising from participation in the elections," says the letter signed by Gjet Ndoj (Chairman of AAK).
We recall that just a day ago, the Alliance of Macedonians for European Integration Party left the coalition (which initially had 26 parties).
" The Alliance of Macedonians for European Integration (AMIE) party announces its withdrawal from the electoral coalition "Democratic Party - Alliance for a Greater Albania", for the elections for the Albanian Parliament on May 11, 2025. In this context, we ask you to deregister the name of our party from this coalition", stated the letter sent to the CEC by Vasil Sterjovski.
Now, this coalition led by the DP and Sali Berisha is left with 24 parties.
