"Veliaj doesn't wear dresses"/ The receipts for shopping for Ajola in London are revealed: Over 1200 pounds in two days

One of the justifications used to oppose Erjon Veliaj's arrest is that the staggering expenses worth hundreds of thousands of euros were not made by him himself, but by his wife, Ajola Xoxa.
This reasoning, which indirectly shifts the burden of blame to Ajola Xoxa and relieves the mayor of Tirana, was first put forward by Prime Minister Edi Rama during the meeting of the Socialist Party parliamentary group.
"The mayor doesn't wear dresses, he doesn't wear jewelry, and for this reason, to take an elected official who has a contract with the citizens and lock him in a detention room, you have to show at least the dresses and jewelry, the evidence," Rama said.
But in the multitude of invoices that were extracted from Ajola Xoxa's computer and obtained by Lapsi.al, it turns out that Ajola's expenses were not a secret within the family, as the mayor's defenders allude to.
In fact, from some invoices, it turns out that in January 2015, when Veliaj was Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, he was on a visit to London. There, in addition to other work, he received an order worth almost 1,200 pounds for his wife.
The expenses are recorded on two invoices, which list shoes, earrings, creams, underwear, skirts, etc.
The order was destined for room 577 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel (photo below) and is named after Erjon Veliaj.
On the first invoice, (facsimile above) several types of creams are ordered ranging from 35 pounds to 83 pounds each.
But there you will also find a pair of flat shoes, from the Jimmy Choo brand, suitable for wearing to a Gala evening.
The price of the shoes is 375 pounds excluding customs. In the illustrative photo below, the shoe model corresponds to the model delivered to Veliaj in London:
The first bill totals 638 pounds.
On the second invoice, the first purchase recorded is a skirt by model Roksanda Illncic, worth £144 .
The second purchase is a pair of Swarovski earrings, worth £261.
The third purchase is the top that combines with the skirt of the model Roksanda Illncic, worth 145 pounds.
The second invoice amounts to 562 pounds worth of purchases.

The orders that Veliaj received from his wife during his visit to London both cost around 1,200 pounds , excluding customs duties.
The amount is not a crazy exaggeration, but Ajola Xoxa had such expenses several times a month, according to documents obtained by Lapsi.al. These are consecutive purchases, which according to SPAK later amounted to 860 thousand euros in expenses over 4 years.
It should be noted that the messages that Erjon Veliaj has been waiting for his wife do not constitute a criminal offense. In fact, the dedication that Veliaj has shown in fulfilling his wife's wishes while staying in London is to be commended.
But after seeing these invoices, you'd have to be an idiot to believe Edi Rama's alibi that Erjoni didn't know his wife had a mania for frenzied shopping at "Net-a-porter" for luxury brands. Because among the invoices that Lapsi.al has seen are clothes by Michael Kors, Victoria Beckham, Prada, Karl Lagerfeld, Dolce Gabbana, Viviene Westwood, etc.
Erjon Veliaj did not actually wear these dresses, but the money to buy them came from his position as minister and mayor of Tirana.
