Having scored just two goals in all competitions, Chelsea sell Liam Delap to Nottingham Forest

Chelsea have reached an agreement to transfer striker Liam Delap to Nottingham Forest, for a fee reportedly worth around 50 million pounds, or approximately 58 million euros.
The 23-year-old spent just one season at Chelsea after joining from Ipswich Town, but failed to establish himself as a regular first-team player, scoring just two goals in all competitions last season.
The striker has signed a five-year contract with Nottingham Forest, where he will compete for a place in the attacking department with Igor Jesus and Chris Wood.
Delap was Ipswich's top scorer in the 2024/25 season, scoring 12 goals, despite the team being relegated from the Premier League. It was this performance that prompted Chelsea to invest in his transfer.
Now, Delap will continue his career at Nottingham Forest, with the club having paid a significant sum to secure the services of the English striker.
