Author Colleen Hoover returns to 'IG', removes photos of Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively

Colleen Hoover reinstated her Instagram account on February 12 after a long hiatus that began on January 22. She had decided to deactivate her profile amid the ongoing legal battle between the stars of the film adaptation of her book, It Ends With Us .
The comeback follows accusations by Blake Lively against Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment during the production of the film. Lively, who plays Lily Bloom in the film, which is scheduled for release in August 2024, has alleged that Baldoni engaged in inappropriate behavior, which Baldoni has denied and filed a defamation lawsuit against Lively.
After Lively filed the complaint, Hoover expressed support for her on Instagram, calling Lively "an honest, supportive, and patient person." Meanwhile, Baldoni has denied the allegations and filed a lawsuit against Lively, claiming defamation and invasion of privacy.
The tensions have culminated in several other lawsuits filed by both sides, including a $250 million lawsuit by Baldoni against The New York Times , while another lawsuit has been filed by Lively against Baldoni for harassment and retaliation.
The legal battle is ongoing with a trial scheduled for March 9, 2026, and for this reason, Hoover has stepped away from social platforms to focus on her other endeavors.
