Bologna stops Napoli, Inter remains +3

Napoli missed a golden opportunity to move within one point of the top spot in Serie A after drawing 1-1 at home to Bologna. Frank Anguissa's brilliant first-half goal was cancelled out by a spectacular second-half finish from Dan Ndoye. The draw saw Bologna move ahead of Juventus in the standings and return to the UEFA Champions League zone.
The match started well for Napoli, who took the lead in the 18th minute when Anguissa took a long ball from midfield, outpaced Sam Beukema with strength and skill, and beat goalkeeper Skorupski with great composure. This was also the last moment for the Bologna goalkeeper, who was forced off injured, making way for Federico Ravaglia.
Ravaglia immediately stood out with saves from McTominay and Politano, while Bologna were unable to show the attacking intensity they had shown in the 5-0 win over Lazio. The first half ended for them with a weak header from Odgaard and an attempt outside the box from Aebischer.
After the break, Bologna came alive. Dallinga and Orsolini threatened Napoli's goal, before Ndoye scored a remarkable goal with his backheel in the 65th minute, after a clever pass from Odgaard.
Napoli looked helpless in the second half and barely crossed the half-way mark, while Bologna threatened to win several times, including an incredible missed chance by Santiago Castro towards the end of the match. Raspadori had a golden opportunity for Napoli in the dying seconds, but his shot was brilliantly saved after being deflected by Olivera.
Napoli remains winless in their last five away games, while Bologna continues their dream of qualifying for the Champions League for the second consecutive time.
