Kosovo football woke up to terrible news today, exactly on the 17th anniversary of Kosovo's Independence.
Football referee Rilind Berisha has passed away at a young age.
This was announced by Rilindja coach Faruk Statovci via social media.
"Our soul was broken by your departure, may God rest you in peace," wrote the famous former Kosovo footballer.
Meanwhile, the Football Federation of Kosovo, through its president Agim Ademi, has expressed condolences to the Berisha family and the football community for the early loss of the promising referee.
