Guardiola leaves players without bonuses: We don't deserve them this season, not even a wristwatch!

Pep Guardiola has insisted that he and Manchester City players do not deserve potential bonuses at the end of the year under their respective contracts, even if they win the Club World Cup, the only major objective left for the "citizens" after a very disappointing season.
City play Bournemouth on Sunday hoping to reach the FA Cup semi-finals for the seventh year in a row but are struggling in the league to secure a Champions League place. If they win the Club World Cup, the rewards for the players would be huge, but Guardiola believes the club should not be giving away such things.
"We don't deserve it this season. We don't deserve bonuses this season. The bonus if we win is for the club. The coaches, the staff, the players, we don't deserve it, not even a wristwatch," the Spanish coach told the media.
