Fire in the Lure-Mali i Dejes National Park, flames spread rapidly

A large fire continues to be active in the forest massif of the Lure-Mali i Dejes National Park, while the flames are spreading rapidly due to strong winds and dense vegetation.

Around 20 firefighters, employees of the Dibër Municipality, officers and employees of protected areas, as well as volunteers from the area, are engaged in the field, working to isolate and extinguish the flames.

Residents of the area have requested maximum intervention and commitment from the responsible structures, with the aim of bringing the flames under control as soon as possible and preventing the fire from spreading to other areas of the park.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation, while the firefighting operation continues.
