Another operation is being finalized as part of the crackdown on the criminal activity of illegal weapons possession.
The operation codenamed "Flagrance 2" was finalized by the "Eagle" Special Force in cooperation with Police Station No. 2.
The 37-year-old was arrested for driving a vehicle armed with a firearm.
The passenger was also arrested for failing to report a crime. The firearm, a pistol, and ammunition were seized.
As a result of continuous field checks, with the aim of preventing and combating illegalities, supported by police intelligence, the Special Force "Eagle" in cooperation with Police Commissariat No. 2 have organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Flagrance 2" within which the following citizens were captured and arrested: 37 years old, for the criminal offense of "Unlicensed Weapons Possession" and 39 years old, for the criminal offense of "Failure to Report a Crime".
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
