Ilaria Sula's murder/ The Filipino's mother admits to having helped
The mother of 23-year-old Filipino Mark Samson, who stabbed 22-year-old Albanian Ilaria Sula to death in Rome, has admitted to Italian authorities that she aided her son in the crime.

Italian media  reports that the young man's mother has said that she helped Samson wipe away traces of blood left in their apartment, where the serious crime took place. She has been officially put under investigation for the criminal offense of "collaboration in the concealment of a corpse," according to the Italian Criminal Code.

A big question mark remains as to where the head of the family, Samson, was, but so far it is reported that he was not at home at the time the serious crime that shocked the two countries occurred.

The perpetrator's lawyer, Fabrizio Gallo, stated that the 23-year-old's father was not at home, explaining that the incident occurred at noon, while the head of the family returned in the evening.

"Marc Samson's mother is under investigation for collaboration in hiding a corpse. Mark Samson's father will not be heard today. He was not at home and this is clear, he returns in the evening as the murder occurs at noon. However, the mother was at home and is now explaining how her behavior was. Now is the time to apologize to Ilaria Sula's family. It is the only thing I can say at the moment. Today is Ilaria's funeral, we join the family's pain. We do our duty, but we cannot help but say that the son must pay for the crime, and that the case is serious",  the author's lawyer told Italian media from outside the police station.
