Authorities and residents of Lura come together, intensive work continues to extinguish the fire

The fire situation in Lura of Dibra continues to be alarming as it is reported that a good part of the country is still affected by the fire. However, the Ministry of Defense announces that intensive work is continuing to completely extinguish the flames, while it is announced that everyone has come together to save Lura, starting from: Fire Services, Armed Forces, State Police, Administration of Protected Areas, Forest Service, Municipal Structures, employees from the National Civil Protection Agency and the Prefecture of the Dibra district, as well as volunteers , residents of the area.

Despite the commitment of nearly 200 forces, including the aforementioned individuals, it is reported that air intervention is also continuing. It is reported that so far 10 air missions have been carried out to extinguish the flames and protect the lives of citizens and nature.

The fight against the fires in Lura continues without interruption, even from the air.

Forces on the ground are working intensively to bring the fires under control, while air intervention is continuing in the affected areas, to contain the spread of the flames and protect the territory.

Around 220 forces and personnel are engaged in the operation, including:

• MZSH

• Armed Forces

• State Police

• Protected Areas Administration

• Forest Service

• Municipal structures

• Volunteers

• National Civil Protection Agency

• Dibër District Prefecture

Over 10 air missions have been carried out so far, with 2 "Air Tractor" aircraft, engaged in the most problematic areas and to curb the spread of the fire.

A joint operation, with hundreds of people on the ground and air support, to bring the flames under control and protect Lura and its natural wealth.
