Durrës Police have reacted again regarding the discovery of a mobile phone this morning, which was connected to a suspicious object on the street.
According to the police announcement, the mobile phone was found in neighborhood no. 3, in Durrës. Immediately after the object was found, police services went to the scene and took the necessary measures to secure the perimeter and guarantee the safety of citizens.
The police report that RENEAS engineering specialists performed the necessary actions and made it possible to deactivate the small amount of explosive material that was connected to the mobile phone.
The police and the investigation team are continuing their work to clarify the full circumstances of the incident and identify the persons responsible.
