Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic told reporters today that the public should know which senior government officials are accused of involvement in activities that could destabilize Montenegro and said he expects clear and precise answers from security sector leaders.
He said that the accusations made yesterday by Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, regarding the destabilization of Montenegro, are "very, very serious" and that for this reason they must be institutionally verified.
"Yesterday, the Prime Minister made serious accusations against political actors in Montenegro, accusations that have to do with the destabilization of Montenegro. I think that this, of course, should be verified institutionally," Milatovic said.
Milatovic previously announced that he would call an emergency session of the Defense and Security Council on Monday, which should review what the security services have done so far and what information they have.
"I think the public should know who this is about. Who, I suppose, are the ministers, even government secretaries, who are destabilizing Montenegro from within, who are connected to criminal structures and services," he said.

Serbia and Albania are two countries that Prime Minister Milojko Spajić (Europe Now Movement) was referring to in a post on the social network "X", in which he spoke about hybrid action, "Vijesti" learned from several sources.
Spajić announced earlier today that he has serious operational security information that the announced closure of new negotiation chapters in the negotiations with Brussels will be accompanied by coordinated hybrid actions, involving officials from at least two countries in the region.
"According to our knowledge, such activities aim to destabilize Montenegro, with the expected support of certain political actors and a part of the media scene in our country. We know these goals and are aware of their purpose. Attempts at destabilization will not change our course nor will they stop Montenegro's European path, which is greater than the daily interest of any political structure," he wrote.
Hybrid operations are the coordinated and malicious use of a mix of conventional and unconventional methods, such as political, informational, economic, cyber, and military tools, with the aim of destabilizing an adversary without initiating open military conflict.
