Turkey, over 600 people poisoned after consuming kebab

In the Kocaeli province of Turkey, over 600 people presented to various hospitals after showing symptoms of food poisoning.
They had eaten chicken kebab at a popular restaurant in the area.
Local media reports that 646 patients were discharged immediately after treatment, while two others underwent further tests. Fortunately, none of them are in life-threatening condition.
All affected people reported nausea and severe stomach pain after consuming the food. Following this massive incident, Turkish authorities intervened immediately and arrested the two restaurant owners. During inspections, serious violations of basic hygiene standards were discovered.
