DP MP Dashnor Sula has ironized the Secretary General of the Democratic Party, stating that Flamur Noka for prime minister was an April Fool's joke.
In a television interview, Sula stated that journalists should investigate candidates for MPs who have been security collaborators in the past.
"Flamur Noka for prime minister was an April Fool's joke. I would say that I appeal to the media, journalists who, taking into account the law on obtaining information, should have a verification of the candidates in the 4 major regions of Fier, Tirana, Durrës, Elbasan, and according to the information I have in the research of the list, there are several elements.
"It should also happen from the media that have access to see and research some candidates who may have been security collaborators. Their parents also had security collaborators. It would be shameful for security collaborators who have harmed Albanian society to go to parliament," said Sula.
