35-year-old Albanian executed by gunfire in Italy, authorities suspect

A 35-year-old Albanian man was found dead in a sunken car in Padua, Italy. According to the Padua Prosecutor's Office, the victim was killed with a gunshot wound.

According to Italian media, the body was discovered on the morning of September 9, inside a Fiat Bravo vehicle, on Via del Santo.

Initial forensic investigations have identified the use of a firearm. At the moment, one of the main leads in the investigation is that of a criminal settlement related to drug trafficking, but this remains a hypothesis that is being verified by investigators.

The Carabinieri analyzed security camera footage from a carpentry workshop located opposite the location where the vehicle was found.

One of the cameras, located outside the warehouse, partially covers the street. Investigators have retrieved and reviewed the footage, even going back to previous days, but so far it has not provided sufficient elements to determine the perpetrators or the dynamics of the incident.

The focus of the investigation is also the vehicle itself. Experts will analyze any biological traces, including possible traces of blood in the passenger compartment.

This evidence could help investigators determine where and when the 35-year-old was killed, as well as whether the body was then transported in the vehicle.

Another element being examined is the fact that the back seats of the car were folded, while the victim's hands were tied.

Investigations continue to reconstruct the victim's movements, determine the crime scene, and identify those responsible for the murder.
