"Ministry has awarded almost 31 million euros in tenders without competition"/ Ahmetaj: Audio recordings speak of arms trafficking in countries under embargo!

Former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, in an exclusive interview with News24, provided further details regarding the earlier denunciation that the government is involved in international arms trafficking.
In a live broadcast on the show "Minuta e Parë" with journalist Ola Bruko, Ahmetaj stated that the investigation by SPAK into these allegations must be in-depth and serious, while expressing his concern that there may be interference from Prime Minister Edi Rama.
He stated that to date, only two ministries, the Interior and Defense, have been given almost 31 million euros without a tender, in a completely non-transparent manner.
The former deputy prime minister raised a series of questions regarding the origin, production and destination of the weapons. He demanded clarification on which factories they are produced in, what types of weapons are produced, what the patents are and where they are then sent.
" As we move towards a thorough and serious investigation, I hope that that investigation will fall into the hands of those outside the segment controlled within SPAK by the head of the organization, because in that institution there are hundreds of denunciations that have been buried, brought to the limits of procedural suppression. I hope that it will fall into the hands of prosecutors who are outside the control of the head of the organization."
I believe that in relation to KAYO and not only, or in relation to Advanced Arms Technology which is one of the other companies that the state has been used in a criminal manner with 20% and that finances millions of euros with non-transparent prepayments and without tender. To date, almost 31 million euros have been given between the two ministries, Interior and Defense, without a tender in any way transparent. As for what will come out, I hope that the honest prosecutors of SPAK will also take into account the speech of the Minister of Defense that with my legal knowledge I have gone into depth and what Ermali said in parliament is a criminal confession because he said we produce.
Who us? The government or criminal instruments like Timac or Advance. Who manufactures the weapons, in what factory, what weapons and patents they have. Where were they sent, who sent them. Do they have the emblem of the Republic of Albania or are they deals outside the eyes of NATO. In the audio response, there is talk of arms trafficking from embargoed countries, from the EC and not only. We are talking about packaging here. Were they packaged in Albania and benefit from the Albanian patent? These are inventions. Hundreds and hundreds of millions of euros. ", he said.
