Egert Haxhiu, candidate for deputy of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition in Tirana County, has reacted to the Municipality’s recent efforts to launch projects in rural areas. From the village of Fikas, Petrelë Administrative Unit, he emphasizes: “The local government is only pre-election propaganda.” According to him, no serious investment has been made for 12 years, while now, a few weeks before the elections, empty projects are being announced.
“We disturb their sleep, but not their comfort,” writes Haxhiu, ironizing the slow pace of local government. For him, last-minute interventions are nothing more than an attempt to deceive the public.

Tirana Municipality has chosen a few weeks before the May 11 elections to do empty propaganda, launching "projects" for the Rehabilitation of the neighborhoods of the Rural areas of Tirana but basically nothing has been done for 12 years.
