"They became a scapegoat for the party's mummification", Basha:

The chairman of the Euro-Atlantic Democrats and at the same time the leader of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition in the May 11 elections, Lulzim Basha, called on all those who are disappointed with the DP list to unite and vote for true democrats and for Albania.

He recalled that he had warned many of them a long time ago not to harm the DP, while now they have become regretful and are mummifying the Democratic Party.

Basha emphasized that they kept the promise made to Albanians a year ago regarding open lists and whoever receives one more vote will be the winner for Parliament.

He underlined that the true Euro-Atlantic Democrats stood up to the campaign of lies and attacks, as well as the annihilating intent by Rama and Berisha to not be part of the elections.

" Any Albanian citizen chooses the candidate they want. And not a list of civilians and servants of the mayor. So whoever gets one more vote is included in the winner's list and whether we kept the promise made a year ago, you, the Albanian citizens, decide with your vote. These hours I have also seen the reactions of our well-wishers and critics and those who have been victims of slander, in contrast to us, who are people who serve and not against demonstrations, I am talking about true democrats who have resisted temptations, lies and deceptions, people who have built their lives as intellectuals, professors and in the service of citizens. Today is a day of relief and retribution for all those who together have withstood a hurricane of slander, attacks that aimed to make the Euro-Atlantic Democrats not exist and not run, from Rama and his alibi (Berisha). "We are not in this great cause to serve small interests, but the Albanian citizens and with this list we represent them better ," said Basha.

When asked about the lists of MPs, he replied that compared to those who were disappointed, this is a dignified list and there are no servile and bargain soldiers.

" We do not have a fence of serviles and soldiers. I have warned the others from the media, the parliament hall that they would regret that they were mummifying it, making it like a guard, like a dead pharaoh. They will regret that they are mummifying the opposition. An uncompromising fight against corruption and for the citizens, against the old guard. With a corrupt Rama government, with a facade behind which the most incriminated organization with a large number in prison, or ready for prison before and after May 11. Mummification with a handful of serviles, who do not arouse enthusiasm, are desperate and see on social networks how desperate they are. I call on the desperate ones, who have the Euro-Atlantic Democrats, to vote for us. We have the best list. We made the sacrifices for them, the others made them for themselves, on May 11 there will be no recycling but change. I did not see it as a personal victory. There are many others who on May 11 will say 'good luck Rama and Berisha'. I don't think about the worst-case scenario, because you have it in front of you, you have it everywhere. The only way is to vote for the Euro-Atlantic Coalition and our candidates, he underlined.
