Unexpected defeat for Bayern, Kane critical: We lacked consistency

A missed penalty and a red card were the main factors in the final result that saw Bayern drop points to a team battling for relegation. The Munich giants' defeat to Bochum came as a shock.
Despite being the better team, mistakes cost the Bavarians dearly. Striker Harry Kane expressed his dissatisfaction with the manner of the defeat. While the xG figures were 2.32 to 1.30 in Bayern's favor, it was Bochum who took the victory with a score of 2-3.
In a post-match interview, Kane said:
"We started the game well and did everything we needed to to take the lead. Then they scored and the momentum changed. After the red card, it shows that at this level you have to stay focused for 90 minutes or you can get punished and that's exactly what happened.
"We are very upset about everything that happened in the duel with Bochum, but it's time to shift our focus to the second match against Leverkusen," Harry concluded.
