Ardian Ismajli was part of the Albanian national team's squad for the matches against England and Andorra, but did not take the field in either of the two matches. He remained on the bench, ready for coach Silvinjo, but was not given a single minute on the field due to the injury situation that accompanied him from the beginning of the squad.
