Francesco Totti has arrived in Russia, specifically in Moscow.
After much controversy, the former captain of the Reds has decided to participate in the "International RB Award", a Russian sports event that has invited him as a guest of honor.
Totti has landed in Moscow and the first photos of his arrival have been shared on social media.
Much controversy has arisen on social media regarding Totti's participation, given the war between Russia and Ukraine that began with the Russian invasion three years ago and still shows no signs of stopping, despite efforts to achieve peace.
The former captain of the Reds responded harshly to the criticism, shortly before departure: "I am not a politician or a diplomat, I am a sportsman who promotes his values around the world.
I've always done this; first as a footballer and now in a new role. For years I've been going to all the places where I've been invited to talk about sports.
"I would have no problem going to Kiev for the same purposes."
Furthermore, Totti is not alone in Russia. He is accompanied by his son, Cristian, who accompanied him for this event.
