The 25-year-old woman could not survive the burns she received in the hotel in Vlora, Ana Dyrmishi lost her life

The body of Ana Dyrmishi, the 25-year-old who lost her life after suffering serious injuries in the fire that engulfed the "Brooklyn" hotel on the Lungomare of Vlora on August 16, has arrived in Durrës.
Ana was in Vlora with her fiancé, Arnaldo, to celebrate their first official engagement day. A trip that was supposed to be one of the couple's most beautiful moments turned into a tragedy.
The fire broke out in the early hours of the morning at the hotel where the couple was staying. Flames and smoke engulfed the building, while six people were injured. Some of them were forced to flee through balconies in an attempt to escape the flames.
Ana suffered burns to about 85% of her body. After initial treatment in Albania, she was sent to Turkey for specialized treatment, with the support of the Albanian government. Her condition remained critical and, after days of struggle, the 25-year-old passed away in a hospital in Turkey.
But neither specialized treatment nor the efforts of doctors could save the young woman from the serious injuries caused by the fire.
Her fiancé, Arnaldo, also suffered serious injuries in the same incident, with burns covering 35% of his body. He has been taken by his family to Italy for specialized treatment. The couple from Durrës were among those who suffered the most serious injuries in the hotel fire.
Ana lived in Shkozet, Durrës. Today, family, relatives and friends will say their final goodbyes to the 25-year-old, who tragically lost her life just a few days after starting a new chapter in her life.
An engagement party, which started with joy, turned into a great pain for the Dyrmishi and Kaçorri families and for all those who knew Ana.
