Alarm in Durrës! A bomb is found in the 4th district, the police surround the place

A controlled bomb was found this morning in the middle of the street, in neighborhood no. 4 of the city of Durrës.

According to preliminary information, after the discovery of the explosive material, Police forces immediately arrived at the scene, while the intervention of engineering forces is expected to deactivate it.

Police have set up a security perimeter and have launched investigations to uncover the full circumstances of the incident, as well as to identify persons who may be connected to the placement of the bomb.

The discovery of the explosive material comes a day after yesterday's alert, when over 100 institutions received bomb threat emails.
