AMP "landing" in Saranda, Serious Crimes officer detained

The Police Supervision Agency has undertaken another operation at the Saranda Police Station, as part of an investigation conducted in cooperation with the Saranda Prosecutor's Office.

Preliminary sources indicate that so far a detention order has been executed against an officer of the serious crimes section at the Saranda Police Station, suspected of the criminal offense of "abuse of office".

The identity of the officer has not yet been made public, while the operation continues and further developments are expected in the coming hours.
