The incident in Dimal, the journalist: Zamir Skënderi under the influence of cocaine! The two mistakes the police made

Journalist, Xhensila Kodra, has provided new details regarding the incident that occurred yesterday evening in the village of Kutalli, Dimal municipality.
45-year-old Zamir Skënderi was being transferred from the Fier police station to Kuçovë, but he took the service weapon from officer Arsen Toska, 20, wounding him and attempting to escape.
In a direct link to "Studio24", Kodra highlighted that 2 of the mistakes made by the police were, according to her, the failure to handcuff Skënder during the escort period and the fact that only one officer was standing in the back of the vehicle, not two as is normal.
"Two of the mistakes made by the police is the fact that they did not put the handcuffs on him when he was being escorted from Fier to Kuçovë. Skënder got out of the car and then tried to escape. It is suspected that he was under the influence of narcotics, specifically cocaine, adding that during the search a quantity of cocaine was also found hidden in his body. The second mistake lies in the fact that only one officer was standing in the back of the van, and not two as there should be. The argument used by the police was that considering the criminal offense for which he was being escorted, "Disturbance of public peace", there was no danger ," she said.
In an attempt to leave the scene, citizen Zamir Skënderi was arrested by the two other officers in the car, while the injured police officer was transported by ambulance to the Berat Regional Hospital, where after receiving first aid, he was transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana.
