"We'll take 40 thousand" - How police officer Erdit Hazizaj

Targeted/ On March 7, 2020, through the 'Qafë Botë' Border Crossing Point, a quantity of 1,144 kg of raw 'cannabis sativa', 4 kg of processed 'cannabis' (chocolate) and 916 gr of processed 'cannabis' (oil) was trafficked to Greece.

On the same date, at around 2:30 p.m., law enforcement agencies in Athens seized 949 packages wrapped in adhesive tape, containing raw cannabis, with a gross weight of 1,144 kg, as well as two packages wrapped in adhesive tape, containing processed cannabis (chocolate).

But while Greek authorities were able to seize this shipment of cannabis coming from Albania and arrest the two Italian citizens, the latter chose not to talk about who the actual customers of the goods were.

They even blamed the drugs on a Bosnian citizen, who in fact did not exist. And they said they had undertaken this mission because of debts they had in Italy.

But as the years passed and everything seemed to settle down, conversations on Sky Ecc revealed that the orderers of this shipment were actually Kristo Qirici and Eldjon Alushaj.

As can be seen in these conversations taken from their communications on Sky Ecc, they talk about the arrest of two Italians in Greece and the seizure of narcotics that the criminal group had smuggled into this country. But they also reveal other members of the criminal organization, including police officers who helped them smuggle tons of drugs unhindered.

One of them is Erdit Hazizaj, who from August 16, 2017 to November 5, 2021, held the position of police officer at the Directorate of the Special Operational Force at the General Directorate of the State Police.

Who, as will be seen in the sequel, asks Kristo Qiric for various honors, even hotel tickets for the boys...

'File, can you give me a hotel sheet for the boys?'

Conversations that take place between them before and after this traffic episode that takes place throughout March 2020.

Meanwhile, Eldjon Alushaj, according to verifications conducted by the investigative group, it turns out that he coordinated all criminal activity with Kristo Qiric, through a phone number that he had registered in the name of his mother and then his sister.

Conversations that have been proven through the Tims system, as well as the numerous movements that these two citizens have made outside of Albania. Especially during 2020.

The time when the criminal group has increased activity in terms of drug trafficking in Greece.

The moment when the name of police officer Erdit Hazizaj comes into play, as well as that of many other officers who have been put at the full service of the criminal organization.

As is this episode from February, which precedes the passage of 1 ton of cannabis through Qafë Bota customs.

Where Erdit Hazizaj makes sure that the road is clear 'from the state' for Kristo Qiric.

Kristo Qirici asks Erdi Hazizaj to inquire about his friends in the police, as he had seen a lot of movement in the Muzina/Gjirokastra area, a road he is suspected of using to transport narcotics.

Then he tells him that if a road comes up, we'll take forty thousand.

'The things are from the area, and the passage is from Saranda.

'Someone from Gjirokastra told me, they were there the day before yesterday.'

'If a road comes up, we'll take a 40-mile ride. It's a pity to leave it'

But to return to the failed episode of trafficking 1.2 tons of cannabis, seized in Athens on March 7, where the two Italian transporters, Luca Bruno and Denise Carannante, were also arrested, Erdit Hazizaj turns out to not be the only police officer who helped Kristo Qiric and his organization.

Another corrupt servant who was wearing the State Police hat was Elvis Dervishi.

Luca Bruno and Denise Carannante are reported to have entered Albania on March 6, 2020, at 07:50, from the Port of Durrës Border Crossing Point, with their caravan with license plates FK 595 LV and exited Albania from the 'Qafë Bota' Border Crossing Point, on March 7, 2020, at 13:12.

Where suspects involved in this episode of drug trafficking from Albania to Greece are Kristo Qirici, Eldjon Alushaj, Benci Toska, and police officers Erdit Hazizaj and Elvis Dervishi, police officer.

It would be precisely these police officers, but also others that will be revealed below, who, taking advantage of their position in the local police,

Not only were they creating the necessary infrastructure for this criminal organization to pass drugs undisturbed through road axes or border points, but they were also reporting to the head of this criminal group about those who could be spies within their ranks, such as the seizure of the quantity of drugs in Greece.
