
Italy/ Albanian caught selling cocaine, Court sentences him to about 2 years in prison

A 35-year-old Albanian man was stopped for a check in the historic center of Bastia Umbra, arrested by the carabinieri of the local station.
The suspect was walking in a suspicious manner, an attitude that put the carabinieri on alert. The physical check was successful, as it revealed 7 doses of cocaine ready to be sold.
Alongside the drugs, approximately five grams, the carabinieri found an amount of 500 euros, considered the proceeds of illegal activity, Italian media reports.
After the ritual procedures, the Albanian was arrested and locked in the security cells of the Santa Maria degli Angeli barracks. The judge of the Court of Perugia, after confirming the arrest, sentenced him to one year and eight months in prison in an accelerated trial.
