The Special Appeal decision for Erion Veliaj was postponed until tomorrow (March 12) after lawyers requested time to familiarize themselves with new evidence presented against the mayor of Tirana by the prosecutors in his case, Ols Dado and Altin Dumani.
According to journalist Klodiana Lala, the positions of Veliaj, who is seeking freedom, may be aggravated with the presentation of new evidence.
"Veliaj opposes the security measure, arguing that there are no conditions and criteria to destroy the evidence and he will feel free to go to work."
"The fact that SPAK has brought new evidence seems to somewhat weigh on Veliaj's position, who has been discussing so far based on the evidence they have had at their disposal," she said.
