DP leader Sali Berisha, commenting on developments within the government, stated that changes in the cabinet will not be enough to convince Albanian citizens.

Berisha reiterated the demand for the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama, saying that this is the way to resolve the political crisis.

"We did not crash during this summer, neither on yachts nor on speedboats. We have continued to work and will continue. Our structures are meeting this week and beyond. As for the government, I think that Balluku BIS, the Balluku government, I think that with any change in it, it cannot deceive the Albanian citizens. The citizens have almost 90 days, the DP has been demanding his resignation and removal for years. The solution to this terrible crisis is his immediate departure and resignation," he said.

The opposition leader also spoke about the changes within the Democratic Party, emphasizing that the party's reform process will continue. Berisha also commented on the DP's stance towards Parliament, ruling out the possibility of a boycott of the institution.

"The party must change and it will change. This is a process that will continue. The DP has boycott excluded by statute. All other positions are on the table except for the boycott. We are determined, if we do not participate in one or two sessions, this is not a boycott. But we will not make a decision to leave parliament," said Berisha.
