Tragedy in Kocani/ After the Skopje footballer, two other athletes lose their lives

Skopje footballer Andrej Lazarov lost his life yesterday in the Kocani tragedy. In addition to him, goalkeeper Damjan Taneski (18 years old) and basketball player Petar Ivanovski (20 years old) also passed away.
Taneski was part of the youth national football team and started his career at the Mal Ajax club in Shtip. He played for the youth teams of Vardar from Skopje and was later a member of Bregallnica from Shtip and Kit-Go from Pehchevo.
On the other hand, Ivanovski's death has also been confirmed by his club, Dino Basket, which, through an emotional message, expressed its sorrow for the loss of their talented player.
" It is with great sadness that we received the news that our teammate Petar Ivanovski was among the victims of the tragedy. Petar was extremely respected among his friends and teammates and as the MVP of the U-14 tournament, he left a deep mark on the world of basketball. He was a wonderful person, a fighter with a big heart ," wrote Dino Basket.
