'Golden Factory'/ Leipzig heads towards 1 billion euros in sales

RB Leipzig continues to confirm its status as one of the most successful clubs in Europe for discovering and developing talent.

The German club has achieved an extraordinary figure in its coffers from player sales.

With the 125 million euros received by Real Madrid for Yann Diomanden, revenues since the 2020/21 season have reached 953.42 million euros.

So, Leipzig is just a few steps away from the magic figure of 1 billion euros from transfers.

In the same period, the club has spent 769.87 million euros in the transfer market, creating a significant financial difference.

Diomande is already the most expensive sale in the club's history, at 125 million euros.

Following him is Josko Guardiola, transferred for 90 million euros.

Benjamin Sesko brought in 76.5 million euros, while Dominik Szoboszlai was sold for 70 million euros.

Also on the list are Xavi Simons with 65 million, Dani Olmo with 61 million and Christopher Nkunku with 65 million euros.

Naby Keita brought Leipzig 60 million euros, while Timo Werner was sold for 53 million.

Loïs Openda completes the list with his transfer of 42.75 million euros.

From Guardiola to Sesko, Olmo and Nkunku, Leipzig has turned young talent into an incredible source of income.

With this model, the German "factory" continues to produce stars and millions, while the figure of 1 billion euros in sales seems ever closer.
