Kosovo Police arrested today citizen Fehim Sali, on suspicion of involvement in the criminal offense of "espionage". Meanwhile, new details have come to light regarding the identity of this person. He is suspected of having collaborated with the Serbian Security and Intelligence Agency (BIA) for a long period of time.

He is also suspected of having maintained contact with an official of this agency, identified as Želimir Matović. Fehim Sali worked as a teacher at the Serbian primary school "9 Maji" in Rapča, Dragash, an institution where, according to publicly available data, he acquired it through the influence of the former Minister of Education in the Serbian government, Branko Ružić. While as seen in the photo above, he is seen alongside Ivica Dačić, who served as Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia.

After the end of the war in Kosovo, Sali has been engaged in various civil society activities and, as a member of the Gorani community, has been connected to a number of non-governmental organizations through which he has benefited from projects of various financial values, media in Kosovo report.

During the period 2022–2024, he was a member of the Consultative Council for Communities at the Office of the President of Kosovo, thus having the opportunity to be part of an institutional mechanism that serves to represent and communicate with non-majority communities with the country's institutions.

In April 2024, he registered the non-governmental organization "Moja Gora" in Serbia, while in Kosovo, in 2020, he founded the organization "Udruzhenje gragjana Gora/Zelena". Through these commitments, he has maintained connections with members of the Gorani community and with various political and social structures in Kosovo and Serbia.

Authorities are also investigating a suspicion that he collected votes in support of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.

We recall that during the operation, 39,500 euros, 500 dinars, four mobile phones and various documents were seized from him, which are suspected of serving as evidence in the ongoing investigation.
