Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez marry in an intimate ceremony, only four witnesses and their children, the footballer's mother is absent

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez got married in their £30 million (around €34.5 million) mansion, with just four witnesses and their children.

The famous couple have ended a decade of relationship, crowning their love in a very private ceremony at the footballer's luxurious residence in Quinta da Marina, near Lisbon.

The couple married on August 11, and according to documents published by Portuguese media, there were only four witnesses and their five children at the ceremony, The Sun writes.

Witnesses included Georgina's sister, Ivana, Ronaldo's old friend, Miguel Paixao, as well as a Spanish couple.

What has drawn attention is the absence of Ronaldo's immediate family. His mother, Dolores Aveiro, as well as sisters Katia and Elma and brother Hugo, were not present at the intimate ceremony.

However, Dolores has publicly supported her son's marriage, reacting with a heart to his post. Ronaldo and Georgina, who have been together for about ten years, have also decided to keep their surnames after marriage.

The day before the ceremony, they had also signed the prenuptial agreement for the division of assets.
