Former President Vjosa Osmani was threatened, VV activist arrested

Kosovo Police today arrested Beki Sylejmani, the suspect in the threat against former Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani.

The suspect had written on Facebook: "I think the one who sells the country a little is the bullet to keep Albini in touch with the people," a direct threat to the former president.

According to the Kosovo Police report, the suspect in the case was arrested today and after being interviewed was taken into custody.

"Pristina/ 15.06.2026-14:00. On 14.08.2026, the Kosovar male suspect was arrested on suspicion that he had threatened the Kosovar female complainant through a social network. The suspect was interviewed and, by decision of the prosecutor, was taken into custody."
