And yet, if I could start over from the beginning, I was sure I would have done the same exact things.
Because that was me: a life that kept losing everything.
I couldn't have been anyone else but myself, anything other than myself, with all the people who had left me or whom I had left, with all the beautiful feelings and magnificent qualities, and the dreams that would have been destroyed anyway, I should have at least brought them back.
Once upon a time, when I was younger, I had created illusions that I could have done something else.
But I always ended up back in the same place, like a ship with a stuck rudder.
This was me.
I couldn't go anywhere else.
I was there, I waited for him and he came back.
