Invited to Report TV's 'Studio Live', analyst Namir Lapardhaja shared some thoughts on the latest political situation in the country, the lists of candidates for MPs, new parties and the May 11 elections. What do you think about new parties and opposition factions?
Lapardhaja expressed that Lulzim Basha's Euro-Atlantic Coalition is a dignified and serious alternative.
"The Euro-Atlantic Coalition list includes prominent people from the academic world, medicine, art, culture and universities. They are free people and unencumbered by the past. It is an alternative that may seem small, but it is the right one that can become big if people trust it and vote for it. There have been many attacks on Basha, but he has managed to stand his ground and produce a dignified list and is a good alternative for the May 11 elections." - Lapardhaja said.
Analyst Namir Lapardhaja believes that Sali Berisha mocked the Democrats by holding the primaries, while now he is putting them at risk.
"Berisha made fun of the Democrats with the primaries that were held. He came to the DP and said he would establish a base, bring votes, and reorganize the party, but now it turns out the opposite. He lied to the Democrats at the beginning, he made fun of them, and now he is making fun of these others, one day he says one thing and the next day something different. He has the luxury of age to make fun of these people, beat them up, make fun of them. The problem is with these people who follow him from behind, not with Berisha," he says to moderator Arbër Hitaj.
He even sees him as doing worse in the electorate and elections than Lulzim Basha, whom he removed after the party's seal was taken away by the court.
"He waged an artificial battle to remove Basha, to come himself, he lost those bastions that Basha had won in the 2021 elections, it turned out worse, now he wants to win the elections while only serving Rama's victories. Berisha is in the DP for personal interests. He gathered his loyalists on the lists. He has taken unknown names on the lists, they don't even recognize their families if you look at the names. Berisha loves the party to protect himself from SPAK. Meanwhile, Rama has chosen anonymous names on the lists, perhaps also because of the problems his people have with justice. Rama's fate is Berisha and this DP, it is Berisha who has more of his personal worries than the elections and the electorate," Lapardhaja analyzes.
