Uncle's son on Berisha's list/Rama's Elvis Roshi and with 7

Elvis Roshi seems to have changed his political direction, having started the campaign for the Democratic Party, since his uncle's son is running on the latter's lists.

The Socialist Party had been losing battles in Kavaja in succession to the Democratic Party.

In two decades, from 1991 until the 2011 local elections, this city and its surroundings were known as a bastion of the Democrats.

But what changed in 2011?

In the local elections that year, the Socialists ran Elvis Rroshin .

At the time, 35 years old, Rroshi won by a solid margin of 880 votes over his Democratic rival, who had led this municipality for three consecutive terms.

The victory cost Rroshi dearly, as he was accused by the DP of abuse of office, vote buying, corruption, and even being a drug trafficker.

Do you remember the decriminalization law that started with Rroshit's name, because according to the DP, he had a conviction for gang rape while he was an immigrant in Italy?

Then, a surreal event with Griselda became a political leitmotif as the opposition accused the majority of having staged a macabre event to kidnap Rroshi's former fiancée.

Over time, Elvis Rroshi became the symbol of the democrats' attacks, even though he was one of the mayors who transformed the city of Kavaja.

Elvis Rroshi is still suffering some of these consequences, as just a few days ago he appeared before SPAK in connection with a report of corruption in the city's reconstruction tenders, while he was mayor.

Publicly, he has withdrawn from active political life, but indirectly, on May 11, he is expected to engage, ironically, for the Democratic Party and its allies.

The reason is related to the candidacy in the Tirana District, where Kavaja belongs to his uncle's son, Elton Rroshi .

Rroshi has been included in the open list of the opposition coalition as part of the Agrarian Environmentalist Party led by Agron Duka.

Duka's expectations with this candidacy are to secure two mandates in the next Assembly, one of which he is certain to win on the DP lists.

When the Democratic Party primaries were held a few days ago, Hysen Kadiu from the Kavaja area emerged as the most voted candidate.

When the lists were announced, it was seen that his name did not appear, while sources from the DP indicate that an agreement with Elvis (Ervin) Rroshin was the reason for Kadiu's removal./ VoxNews
